The Rob Allen Railgun is the original South African railgun and is the benchmark that all others fall short against.  The Sparid range are the shorter guns with 16mm rubbers and a 6.5mm spear.  They're perfect for chasing small reef fish

Rob Allens indestructible vecta handle and extruded aluminium railed barrel in shorter lengths. These pint-sized railguns pack enormous punch with their single 16mm rubbers (with dyneema push-in wishbones) and 6.5mm shaft yet are extremely maneuverable making them ideal snooping or dirty water guns. Rigged with a single wrap of 180kg mono and a Rob Allen snap-swivel bungy.

Rob Allen Sparid Features

• Constructed of extremely high tensile spring steel that has been tempered to an incredible 2100mpa.  
• They are fitted with an over-sized stainless steel flopper on the bottom of the spear that has been perfectly hand-tuned to flop easily the first 40 degrees and then jam open.
• The Sparid comes with a 6.6mm single notched shaft with a 40cm overhang The spear is attached to the muzzle via a single wrap of 1.8mm monofilament and a 10cm gun bungee.
• The Sparid comes fitted with a single 16mm rubber with a dyneema wishbone.
• The muzzle accommodates two rubbers that are clipped into place preventing 'muzzle flip' when fired
• The Sparid handle is equipped with the latest Vecta handle and mechanism.  The entire handle and mechanism cassette is made of glass reinforced polyamide giving it unequalled strength. 
• Like the handle the Vecta muzzle is constructed of bomb proof glass reinforced polyamide and the critical muzzle-barrel interface consists of an extra-long internal spigot with external shrouds
